I had the great pleasure of staying at this property during a weekend trip. It is absolutely fabulous. I felt as if I was staying at a resort. The interior design was top notch. Indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful, and better than the pictures. Harman is a wonderful host, and all-around great person. He knows the area well and was quick to provide recommendations. I would stay here again.

Beautiful location, we’ve stayed here several times before. There were a number of issues during our stay this time that were never resolved, such as a lack of heat in the main bedroom and a non functional cold water tap in the bathroom - even though Harman sent somebody out. Hopefully they will be resolved before we come out again.

Helia was friendly and responsive. We were a bit surprised that accommodations were spread over three establishments that were not immediately next to each other, which would have been helpful to know in the description. Overall, the ranch is fun to explore. The house was comfortable and had character. It was a magical and unique experience.

Thank you Harman for a great stay at a beautiful property! Perfectly located incredibly close to Healdsburg, but wonderfully private and spacious estate. Our whole family enjoyed the pool, the pickle ball, the bocce court, the basketball hoop, and the other games around the property. The hardest part was leaving the estate to enjoy the surrounding wineries, restaurants, etc. We hope to come back again someday to enjoy this peaceful retreat!

Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Pelican's Rest. The house was clean and a great location right on the ocean. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out! We enjoyed some time in wine country along with some of the local restaurants.

Harman is a fantastic host—very attentive and quick to respond. The house was spotless, peaceful, and nestled right in the middle of the stunning redwoods. Our family had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed this short retreat to the Russian River region.

Fabulous views!!! Comfortable beds, great kitchen and many spaces for seating indoors and out.

The views are jaw dropping.

Beautiful well equipped home with a great BBQ and hot tub. A short walk down the street and past the lodge was a really nice beach. I celebrated my birthday here and everyone loved the home, saying they wished they lived here. Beds were very comfortable and the home was very quiet and peaceful. We were able to sit at the living room window and enjoy the sunset. Being able to park inside the garage was an awesome perk too! Harman and co-host Patricia were awesome hosts, providing plenty of helpful information and things to do, and there is no shortage of great restaurants close by. We are looking forward to our next stay here!

Harman was a great host! We had a group of 5 and felt right at home. We loved the grounds of the house, the string lights at night, the dining room area, and the throw blankets (this is a small thing BUT our group loves being cozy & you never find this extra comfort at most places)!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay , your home was comfortable, welcoming, clean and exactly what we needed.
Everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time there.

The house, its’ amenities, the location (with a nice view of the Pacific, with the nearby trail down to the ocean, made for a wonderfully peaceful respite after full days of touristing (wineries galore, shops, restaurants, nature…).

The only thing to be aware of is the home does not have air conditioning. That was minor, as each evening opening the windows to the breezes off the water rapidly cooled the home. The home is close enough to the ocean that such cooling should be quite reliable year round.

Our visit was during an unusually warm period for the season, so we utilized both the cooling breeze and the radiant floor heating, and each morning the gas fireplace was soothingly pleasant.

Simply put, if asked would I stay again, the answer is a resounding “Yes”

Beautiful location!

I had one of the most incredible weekends at this home with my friends.
The outdoor deck was the MVP - yoga in the morning overlooking deers on the golf course, wine and sunset in the evening and stargazing at night with the telescope.
We loved the decor, the board games and all the small details that went into furnishing this home. The place had everything necessary for a good staycation and the guide they provide is also helpful.

There was some issue with the heating but the hosts were proactive and gave alternative solutions. We are mostly chill group and the weather was pretty good so we didn’t mind.

Would 100% recommend and might also look for this place next time I am in Bodega.

Great home base for our first visit to the Russian River Valley! We explored the coast, hiked in the redwoods, and visited wineries with Harman’s awesome recommendations. All spot on! Especially loved the hot tub and clean cozy bedding. Harman was so friendly and responsive. Thanks for a hosting our relaxing getaway.

Harman is a wonderful host. He’s very responsive and the home is fabulous. We had no issues or wants because everything is there. We would return to this home anytime!

The house was awesome — spacious, clean and private. The views from the backyard were unreal with amazing sunsets and whale sightings! We were able to relax in the hot tub and grill dinner on the deck. Very relaxing and serene surroundings. This house was perfect for a getaway. Harman was a great host and super responsive whenever we needed anything!

Great stay at Pelicans Rest from communication prior to check in through check out. The location is great with easy access to the beach and trails. The home had everything we needed to prepare meals, rest and spend time with family.

Interesting decor and a lovely home overall. Thank you for letting us stay!
