Every detail in this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home — the artwork, the textures and colors, the small amenities—comes together to create a space that feels both intentional and effortlessly welcoming.

The great room is the heart of the home with its simple pop of colors, and tall windows framing the fairway and the ocean beyond. The log-burning fireplace adds a cozy glow on cool coastal mornings and chilly evenings, making it the perfect spot for reading, chatting, or watching a movie. A large, plush sofa anchors the room, giving your group space to relax without feeling crowded.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream (the owner is a chef): full-sized fridge, oven, microwave, and gas stove-top, plus ample counter space and all the essentials you might need! With an abundance of cookware, dishes, and utensils, it’s perfect for preparing anything from full meals to quick snacks between adventures. Best of all, you can enjoy ocean views from the kitchen! Enjoy preparing a fresh seafood dinner, a luxurious brunch, or a happy hour spread of local wines and cheeses.

The adjacent dining area also enjoys golf course and ocean views. The simple dining table has plenty of room for six guests, and can be extended to seat eight. This dining room calls for sharing tasty meals, laughter, and conversation.

Each bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to feel serene and restful. Two bedrooms feature luxurious king beds, and the third offers a plush queen. Soft bedding, quality linens, and spa-like bathrooms create a retreat-like atmosphere throughout the home.

The second bedroom, also with a king bed, offers wide open views of the coastal hills. The third bedroom offers cozy comfort and a plush queen bed. All bedrooms have quality linens, soft bedding and plenty of pillows.

The private courtyard entrance has a gas BBQ grill and seating so you can sit and chat or enjoy a cocktail while the smell of sizzling barbecue fills the air.

The gem of the house is the spacious back deck with breathtaking views of the ocean, Doran Beach, Bodega Head, and the rolling greens of the 15th fairway. There is a large, comfortable dining table for six and an additional area with lounge seating for two – the perfect place for morning coffee or a relaxing happy hour. Bodega Harbour is known for its quiet charm and scenic coastal trails. From the home, you can take a short walk to the beach or stroll to the Bodega Harbour Clubhouse. Everything feels close, yet the neighborhood maintains its calm, peaceful atmosphere.

Guests will have access to the entire home, BBQ, beach walks, and everything else Bodega Bay has to offer. There are many great restaurants in the area as well as many local festivals throughout the year!

Golfer’s Paradise! The Links at Bodega Harbour is just a hole-in-one away within our community. Experience the beauty of a true Scottish style links course designed by Trent Jones. From the rolling fairways of the front nine to the fabulous ocean views from each of its 18 holes, you will see why it’s been rated as one of Northern California’s top ten courses to play.

Bodega Harbour vacation renters have access to the community basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, bocce courts, and clubhouse beach access. You can book a golf tee time at The Links at Bodega Harbour. Bluewater Bistro restaurant is at the Bodega Harbour clubhouse and is open to all with a full bar and casual dining. Two hiking trails are within walking distance of the house. Pinnacle Gulch Trail and Shorttail Gulch Trail both lead to the beach and tidepools. We regret that renters do not have access to the clubhouse pool, gym or locker room.

We feel the most direct and scenic route to Bodega Bay from either the Bay Area or Sacramento is via Hwy 101 to East Washington Street in Petaluma (Exit 474).

– FROM THE BAY AREA –
Get to Golden Gate Bridge / US-101 Northbound about 40 miles to exit 474 toward E Washington Street and turn left (West).

– FROM THE SACRAMENTO AREA –
I-80 West to Vallejo
Exit 33B to take CA-37 West for 15.4 miles
Right on Lakeville Hwy / 116 for 11.1 miles
Right to merge onto US-101 N for 1 mile
Exit 474: E Washington Street turn left (West)

– FROM EAST WASHINGTON –
Heading westbound, East Washington Street turns into Bodega Ave as it goes through town. Stay on this road for about 26 miles, all the way to the Bodega Harbour community. The road will change names to Valley Ford Rd and then CA-1 North. Once you are through Petaluma, enjoy the scenic drive with rolling green farmlands, happy cows, and frolicking sheep. Cell service on this stretch of road can be unpredictable but usually regains stability as you approach Bodega Bay.

You may consider stopping to shop for groceries and necessities as you drive through Petaluma, as shopping in Bodega Bay is more limited. You will find a Target, Whole Foods, and Safeway store within the first few miles of E Washington.

After 26 miles, turn Left onto Harbour Way into the Bodega Harbour community. Please keep your speed at the posted 25 MPH max, there are usually lots of hikers and dogs, deer, etc. Once you turn into the Bodega Harbour community, here is how to navigate to the house:

Make an immediate Left on Heron Drive. The home will be on your right approximately 400 feet from the turnoff, second home on the right at 19924 Heron Drive. Welcome to Pacific Flyaway!

Important notes:

– Most of our guests love this home for its close connection to nature. Since we’re in a beautiful coastal area with lots of wildlife, it’s normal to occasionally see an insect or two that may wander in through an open door or window. While we can’t control nature, we want to assure you that the home is treated regularly by a professional pest control company to minimize any issues.

To help keep things comfortable, please wipe up spills promptly, store food in the fridge or covered containers, and clean pet food bowls after use. Leaving food out can attract ants, so keeping things tidy helps prevent that.

– We can comfortably accommodate up to 6 overnight guests and allow up to 6 additional daytime visitors, for a total of 12 people on the property. Daytime visitors are welcome between 7 AM and 10 PM.

– Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We appreciate your help in keeping the Bodega Harbour community peaceful and being considerate of our neighbors.

– No smoking: This is a no-smoking home (including vaping). A deep-clean fee will apply if this rule is violated.

– We love all animals and pets but unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If you’ll be traveling with a service animal, please let us know ahead of time so we can ensure a smooth check in.

– No parties or large events allowed. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and with neighbors nearby, noise carries easily. We appreciate your help in keeping the area peaceful

– Driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles, a two-car garage you can park in as well. There can be no more than 4 cars at this residence. Please note that parking of RVs, Motorhomes, Boats or Trailers are not permitted within the community.

– Fire Safety: Fireplace is available for use. Please follow the safety instructions in the welcome guide and never leave fires unattended.

🔔 We work with a private security company that can be dispatched if we receive reports of excessive noise or parking violations.

🔔 As is common with many homes and vacation rental properties, we have installed on-site devices for your security. These may include electronic door locks, light timers, security alarms, exterior motion sensors, outdoor facing cameras (which record whenever motion is detected including voices), smoke detection devices, and decibel meters (which do not record voices). For your privacy, we do not have any cameras inside the house. Cameras are all in plain sight and are located at the front entrance doorbell, and inside the garage. Tampering with the WiFi, mesh routers, or any of the security devices is grounds for immediate eviction with no refunds.

Damage Protection Coverage

When you stay at Pacific Flyaway, you’re covered for any accidents that might happen up to $3,000. The $42 charge listed as a “management fee” on your quote covers your purchase of $3,000 of “all risk” damage protection coverage on your rental property. This protection is purchased in lieu of a security deposit. Coverage details are spelled out in the rental agreement.
