The Shed and Garage are off-limits

Situated on Havens Neck Drive off State Route 1 in the Gualala/Anchor Bay area of northern Mendocino County. The area is quiet and scenic — rugged coastline, small coves and beaches, coastal bluffs, and stands of redwood and coastal scrub. Nearby attractions include Gualala River access, Anchor Bay beaches, Point Arena and its lighthouse and marine conservation areas. The vibe is rural/coastal vacation-residential: outdoor recreation, whale and bird watching, fishing, beachcombing and short drives to small-town dining and galleries.

Primary transport is by private car; the property is not walk- or transit-friendly for everyday shopping. Local roads are two‑lane and scenic but can be narrow and winding. Limited local taxi/rideshare service; cell coverage can be spotty in places. Nearest full-service towns for groceries, fuel and services: Gualala (south) and Point Arena (north). Nearest larger service centers with more options: Cloverdale or Ukiah (inland). No local passenger rail service; public bus options on the Mendocino coast are minimal or seasonal, so plan to drive.

BLUFF SAFETY:
•The property sits on an oceanfront bluff. Children should be supervised outdoors at all times.
•Please stay on designated paths and avoid bluff edges.
•The path toward the bluff is off-limits — it is overgrown and near the bluff edge.

WILDLIFE:
•The Sonoma Coast is home to deer, sea lions, and coastal birds. Please enjoy watching them from a distance and do not disturb or feed the animals.

HEATING & AC:
•The home is heated via a furnace controlled by a thermostat downstairs.
•There is no air conditioning at the property.

CELL SERVICE & WI-FI:
•Cell service can be limited along portions of the Sonoma Coast. The home has Wi-Fi, and most guests can make and receive calls using Wi-Fi Calling on their phone.

PET POLICY:

•The property does not allow pets.

The $42 charge listed as a “management fee” on your quote covers your purchase of $3,000 of “all risk” damage protection coverage on your rental property.
