With warm natural light, open gathering spaces, & inviting bedrooms, this is the perfect place to unwind, slow down, & savor the beauty of Bodega Bay.
The heart of the home is an airy main living area where tall windows frame the blue horizon and the wide fairway. Whether you’re reading on the sofa, planning dinner, or watching the fog roll in, this space makes it easy to settle into the slower pace of the coast.
The wood-burning stove adds warmth on cooler evenings, making it a cozy spot for early morning coffee or a quiet night after exploring the town.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a Frigidaire refrigerator, Maytag dishwasher, Samsung microwave oven and electric range, plenty of space to cook, and everything you need for meals at home. Whether you’re grilling fresh seafood, prepping snacks after golf, or enjoying wine country tastings, the setup is easy and comfortable.
Upstairs, the loft and bedroom open to elevated views that stretch across the hills and coastline. It’s a serene, inspiring part of the home, perfect for writing, relaxing, or simply soaking in the scenery. The bedrooms offer plush bedding and calm coastal tones. With one king and two queen beds, the layout works beautifully for families, couples traveling together, or small groups of friends.
The back patio is where most guests find themselves lingering in the afternoons. With lush landscaping along the fairway and an uninterrupted ocean view beyond, it’s perfect for slow mornings, golden sunset hours, or quiet moments under the open sky. And with the Weber Genesis gas grill ready to fire up, it’s an ideal spot for your group to gather, cook, and create some great memories together.
“Beautiful setting on the golf course with an ocean view. Our family really enjoyed doing a jigsaw puzzle as we watched the golfers, deer and baby quail” – Alan

Golfer’s Paradise! The Links at Bodega Harbour is just a hole-in-one away within our community. Experience the beauty of a true Scottish style links course designed by Trent Jones. From the rolling fairways of the front nine to the fabulous ocean views from each of its 18 holes, you will see why it’s been rated as one of Northern California’s top ten courses to play.
Bodega Harbour vacation renters have access to the community basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, bocce courts, and clubhouse beach access. You can book a golf tee time at The Links at Bodega Harbour. Bluewater Bistro restaurant is at the Bodega Harbour clubhouse and is open to all with a full bar and casual dining. Two hiking trails are within walking distance of the house. Pinnacle Gulch Trail and Shorttail Gulch Trail both lead to the beach and tidepools. We regret that renters do not have access to the clubhouse pool, gym or locker room.

Important notes:
– Most of our guests love this home for its close connection to nature. Since we’re in a beautiful coastal area with lots of wildlife, it’s normal to occasionally see an insect or two that may wander in through an open door or window. While we can’t control nature, we want to assure you that the home is treated regularly by a professional pest control company to minimize any issues.
To help keep things comfortable, please wipe up spills promptly, store food in the fridge or covered containers, and clean pet food bowls after use. Leaving food out can attract ants, so keeping things tidy helps prevent that.
– We can comfortably accommodate up to 8 overnight guests and allow up to 6 additional daytime visitors, for a total of 14 people on the property. Daytime visitors are welcome between 7 AM and 10 PM.
– Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We appreciate your help in keeping the Bodega Harbour community peaceful and being considerate of our neighbors.
– No smoking: This is a no-smoking home (including vaping). A deep-clean fee will apply if this rule is violated.
– Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome for an additional fee, but we’re unable to accommodate cats. Please note that pets are not allowed on the golf course or cart paths.
– No parties or large events allowed. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and with neighbors nearby, noise carries easily. We appreciate your help in keeping the area peaceful.
– Driveway parking for up to 2 vehicles. Street parking may be available—please follow posted signs. Please note that parking of RVs, Motorhomes, Boats or Trailers are not permitted within the community.
– Fire Safety: Wood-burning stove is available for use. Please follow the safety instructions in the welcome guide and never leave fires unattended.
🔔 We work with a private security company that can be dispatched if we receive reports of excessive noise or parking violations.
🔔As is common with many homes and vacation rental properties, we have installed on-site devices for your security. These may include electronic door locks, light timers, security alarms, exterior motion sensors, outdoor facing cameras (which record whenever motion is detected including voices), smoke detection devices, and decibel meters (which do not record voices). For your privacy, we do not have any cameras inside the house. Cameras are all in plain sight and are located at the front entrance doorbell, and inside the garage. Tampering with the WiFi, mesh routers, or any of the security devices is grounds for immediate eviction with no refunds.
When you stay at Bodega Retreat, you’re covered for any accidents that might happen up to $3,000. The $42 charge listed as a “management fee” on your quote covers your purchase of $3,000 of “all risk” damage protection coverage on your rental property. This protection is purchased in lieu of a security deposit. Coverage details are spelled out in the rental agreement.
