A hotel family, a builder’s discipline, and a region we couldn’t leave
Vinifera started with a conviction: that a stay in Sonoma should feel like a stay in Sonoma. Not a rental unit with a lockbox and a Wi-Fi password. Not a hotel dropped onto a hillside. Somewhere between the two — the version of the region that our neighbors, our growers, and our closest friends already knew.
Anish grew up inside a hotel family. Fifty years of small daily lessons about what welcome actually looks like — how a room gets ready, when to speak up, when to leave a guest alone. Harman came to short-term rentals the harder way, running his own six properties across three states and learning, one turnover at a time, what the operations layer needs to look like when you care about the outcome.
We built Vinifera to marry those two things. Hotel-caliber hospitality, boutique in scale. Real homes in real neighborhoods, cared for the way you’d care for a house you love. A concierge who’s lived in Sonoma for seventeen years, not a call center. Owners we’ve earned the trust of, one conversation at a time.
Today we host in Sonoma, Napa, the Russian River, and along the Coast. But the same instinct still shapes every stay: lead with the place, let the homes carry it, and hand you the door with just enough context that the region gets to introduce itself.
