Homes Shaped by the Place
They Sit In

A boutique collection across Sonoma, Napa, the River & the Coast

How Vinifera began

A hotel family, a builder’s discipline, and a region we couldn’t leave

Vinifera started with a conviction: that a stay in Sonoma should feel like a stay in Sonoma. Not a rental unit with a lockbox and a Wi-Fi password. Not a hotel dropped onto a hillside. Somewhere between the two — the version of the region that our neighbors, our growers, and our closest friends already knew.

Anish grew up inside a hotel family. Fifty years of small daily lessons about what welcome actually looks like — how a room gets ready, when to speak up, when to leave a guest alone. Harman came to short-term rentals the harder way, running his own six properties across three states and learning, one turnover at a time, what the operations layer needs to look like when you care about the outcome.

We built Vinifera to marry those two things. Hotel-caliber hospitality, boutique in scale. Real homes in real neighborhoods, cared for the way you’d care for a house you love. A concierge who’s lived in Sonoma for seventeen years, not a call center. Owners we’ve earned the trust of, one conversation at a time.

Today we host in Sonoma, Napa, the Russian River, and along the Coast. But the same instinct still shapes every stay: lead with the place, let the homes carry it, and hand you the door with just enough context that the region gets to introduce itself.

Anish Patel

Head of Owner Relations
Anish grew up inside his family’s fifty-year hotel business and later spent years at a strategy consulting firm advising founders and C-suites. He brings both instincts — old-school hospitality and operator-side sharpness — to how Vinifera works with property owners.

Harman Nagi

Head of Operations
Harman ran his own portfolio of six short-term rentals across three states before Vinifera, learning first-hand what the systems layer needs to look like when you care about the guest. Today he leads the tools, pricing, and daily operations that keep every stay quietly on-track.

Voices from our doors

The reviews we’re proudest of
“I felt as if I was staying at a resort. The interior design was top notch. Indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful, and better than the pictures. Harman is a wonderful host and all-around great person, he knows the area well and was quick to provide recommendations.”
— Laurel · Roseville, CA
“We picked Vinifera for our tenth anniversary and got more than we asked for. The vineyards started turning gold the week we arrived, our host sent us to a winery she’d known for years, and by the second night we were talking about coming back for our twentieth.”
— David & Meera · Portland, OR
“Two kids, one dog, three hot days on the river. The dog claimed the porch by 10 a.m. The kids barely came out of the pool. My husband and I actually finished a bottle of wine on the deck at sunset — which never happens at home.”
— Anna R. · Boulder, CO
