Aaron's estate was absolutely lovely - down to the simplest design/decor detail. Each room of the house had a story to tell and my group of 8 really enjoyed our stay, COMFORTABLY. And even though the house is located in a heavily wooded area, Aaron has a great security system in place! The outdoor deck and pool area really lived up to our expectations. My group spent quite a bit of time out there during our stay and we had breakfast served to us by the private chef I hired on the outdoor deck quite a few times. Well done, Aaron! Thank you for making my 30th birthday vacation so special!

My group and I had a great experience at this house! The house was very spacious and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed the kitchen for all of our meals and relaxed on the back patio. Although we didn't get to use the pool as much as we thought, the temperature and scenery was to die for. Would definitely recommend this place for your future stay!

A delightful holiday home in Sonoma. I hosted my sister's bridal weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. Lovely house with great amenities, big kitchen, lots of places to hang out. The outdoor space really seals the deal. The pool is fantastic and the deck with large dining table is perfect for al fresco eating. I highly recommend this home!

What a great house! Everything was as described. Lots of room, amazing kitchen, and a great deck/pool. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great so we didn't get to spend much time outside but we had a wonderful trip nonetheless. Will have to come back again when the sun comes out!

This house was amazing! Although it looked great online, it completely blew our expectations out of the water. We will be back and renting this place again!

While it was a gorgeous house, there were some communication issues. We were contacted by Pillow prior to our stay and including the day of, and then we received communication the day of from another management team saying they were now in control over the property. The new management team informed me the day of our arrival that the deck was not in use and about a week ago either construction began or they realized the issue. This was certainly frustrating as the main reason we rented the house was for the amazing outdoor space that was seen in photos and on previous reviews. Before our arrival, we specifically asked the old management Pillow about the pool and if it was heated and that we could heat it during our stay, so I would have appreciated being updated ASAP about the deck condition. I also was receiving communication from both the old and new management teams which was extremely confusing and frustrating. I would recommend the house, but be prepared for unexpected construction. For our deck trouble, the owner offered a small daily deduction off the price (though we did not get near off what we had requested). Since clearly the deck construction was known a week before, if we had been informed then, we would have rented elsewhere as our main attraction was outdoor space and a nice pool.

The house is decorated uniquely and it was nice inside. It was convenient to several wineries and especially the Sonoma Square.

We had a wedding in Napa that we rented the house four days for. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host. Checking in was super easy, communication was easy although very little needed as everything was made very simple to figure out from beginning to end. The house has four gorgeous bedrooms, there isn't a bad one at all. It's bigger than I had anticipated. If you like to cook and/or entertain, this place is for you. We spent one of the days here just making dinner at home and relaxing in the library and it was probably one of my favorite days! There are little pieces of the hosts creativity scattered throughout the home, if you have time it's really interesting to look through. Especially in the kitchen. The yard and is full of flowers and herbs, and we actually made mojitos one of the days with the mint and limes on the property. The back porch is to die for. I could go on for days. Don't skip this place, it's totally worth every penny.

Thanks to Aaron and the pillow team for an amazing weekend in Sonoma! The house was more beautiful than the pictures could ever display and the pillow team was great with making checking in easy! We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Our family rented this house 4 days. It served as a home base for our family for our daughter's wedding in Sonoma. The house is huge and spacious so there was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The house was obviously decorated with great care as it is filled with beautiful antiques. The kitchen was modern and spacious. The back yard was huge with a back deck, perfect for relaxing and spending time with family. The pool area was beautiful. My only disappointed was that we didn't stay longer. With some many wedding related activities I was we had stayed a few days longer just to relax and enjoy the home.

We had a wonderful weekend at the property. Communication prior to our arrival was clear and helpful and our arrival was smooth. The wifi works well which is helpful since cell service was patchy there.

The property is beautiful and matches the advertised pictures. The house is very spacious and was spotless upon our arrival. The kitchen was very well equipped with cooking utensils, pans, etc and there is even a nice pantry with more equipment and basic cooking needs and some spices, etc. This was very helpful since we preferred to stay in and prepare our meals as a group. The neighborhood is very quiet, especially at night.

The pool was very clean and a nice temperature. Cool enough to be refreshing, not overheated, although some might prefer it warmer if the weather were cooler. The backyard was also spacious and beautiful and allowed for leisure activities and the large lawn. A nice supply of pool towels was greatly appreciated as well.

Bedrooms were all nice, spacious and comfortable. There is a also a gorgeous, huge library - a really nice place to have coffee or tea in the mornings.

A couple of small notes - there are essentially no window coverings anywhere in the house including the bedrooms. So it does get light very early everywhere. There also was limited shade by the pool - we saw one umbrella alongside the garage, but there was no bracket available to use it. Thus, the smal gazebo and trees along the pool were the only shaded spots until afternoon when the sun partially went down.

Overall a really nice place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Our group was already talking about making it an annual tradition by the time we left!

Very secluded and luxurious. Well appointed (right down to the meat thermometer on the grill). The library is amazing. We loved it.

This is the most incredible property I have ever visited. Me and my 8 closest friends had the most relaxing, serene, picturesque weekend of our lives. The rooms are beautiful and the house is decorated to perfection, but nothing compares to the lush, expansive grounds. We dined al fresco every night and made ample use of the pool. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in a fabulous setting.

The house was beautiful and just as the pictures show it. It's a great location, nice and quiet, and perfect outdoor areas to relax and hang out. We had an amazing trip. We were also surprised at all of the items for use in the kitchen, herbs growing outside and spices in the pantry. Made cooking the few meals we had at the house extra nice.

I hosted my sister's bachelorette party at this lovely home in Sonoma in July 2015. We couldn't have made a better choice. The house was much more than we expected-- the rooms had plenty of space, the master bedroom could easily fit two blow-up beds, the three living/family rooms were huge and could easily accommodate all our guests. The kitchen was well stocked, although we needed to supply our own plastic cups for use by the pool. We had 10 overnight guests, and didn't feel the slightest bit crowded, although there were only 8 lounge chairs, and not a ton of space to put them comfortably around the pool. The pool was very warm and clean, the cover was easy to operate, and the owners supplied plenty of pool floats. The drive into Sonoma Square was just 10 minutes, and we were 3 miles from Safeway and Whole Foods. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking. The house and lovely yard felt very private. There were wild strawberries, persimmon and lemon trees in the yard, and a really lovely outdoor dining area that easily sat 13 guests. All in all, a great experience!

Aaron was a great host, and available to answer all questions and concerns before our visit. We rented the home for a weekend in July. When we arrived the house was clean and the home is clearly well taken care of. The house manual is easy to understand. This was perfect for a get away weekend with friends. The pictures were accurate.

Everything was as good or better than we all expected.
The property was huge and beautiful!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful place. There was ample room, the pictures don't do the place justice. We cooked a few meals, hung out at the pool and had towels, etc... Everything we needed to maximize our fun time : ) We would definitely go back!

Wonderful place to stay in Sonoma! I stayed with my family over Thanksgiving week. Spacious and very comfortable house with amazing, private grounds and great seating outside. We ate dinner outside and loved sitting outside in the afternoons. It was a little to chilly to use the pool, but I imagine it would be a great plus during the warmer months. Aaron was really helpful and responsive with a couple questions/issues we had during our stay. Before arriving, I had inquired if they had a mixer in the kitchen, and they generously ordered one to be delivered during our stay for us to use. Close to town.
