The location truly can’t be beat

The location truly can’t be beat. The views are stunning from every floor, the neighborhood is quiet & peaceful. There was plenty of space for our large group, which is hard to find in Dillon while still being close to the beach. However, we later discovered the property had recently been listed for sale, which was not communicated prior to our stay. This raised concerns about both privacy and the lack of attention to maintenance. Several key amenities were not functioning, including the dishwasher and one oven, despite us clearly stating we planned to cook large family meals. Because of this, we also had to go into town to purchase basic supplies such as paper towels, dish soap, & trash bags. At check-in, the cleaning crew walked us through the home to point out broken or missing items and did not leave until 30 minutes after check-in time. The large windows were covered in handprints & feathers from the previous guests. Ultimately, the time spent together was meaningful & worthwhile.

Beautiful location and very comfortable house. The one issue is the dishwasher was broken and despite promises to call in someone to help, no one arrived throughout our stay.

Beautiful home and views. The lock is particular and takes a while to work. The only disappointment is it's pretty far from the nearby restaurant areas that we visited so it was inconvenient to drive 30 min each time to head to Bodega Bay for restaurants.

Location, location, location! Harman’s house had sweeping panoramas from floor to ceiling windows of the ocean and nearby beach—the views, especially the sunrises and sunsets, were spectacular. Beds were very comfortable and the house has a lot of great common spaces for enjoying time together. One day we walked down to Dillon Beach and strolled along the ocean, then had a delicious lunch at the Coastal Kitchen restaurant there. Another day we drove to Bodega Bay to hike, followed by lunch at The Tides. We also booked a limo for a wine tour in the Healdsburg area. Be prepared that the house is a bit remote from stores and restaurants (other than the Coastal Kitchen) and you will have to drive a bit to get to the suggested hikes and restaurants. But if you are prepared for that, it is well worth it for the gorgeous views from the house. And my group found ourselves happy to just stay home and enjoy the surroundings. Harman is an extremely responsive host and we had a great stay.

Beautiful home with astonishing views! Harman sends you detailed information prior to arriving, and responds quickly when you reach out. Lots of great exploring nearby, his recommendations were helpful and much appreciated. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing space close to the beach.

We had a wonderful time during our stay with friends and family we don't see regularly. The location is hard to beat as the views of the beach and sunsets were wonderful and the beach itself was easily accessible and very nice. Also we were very close to so many great places to eat, drink good wine and experience. The beds were also extremely comfortable. There were a few little things like burnt out lights, trash left behind and windows that needed a little extra cleaning that brought our rating down to a 4. The owner who was always very responsive was appreciative of our feedback and we were happy to hear that he plans to tackle these easily correctable issues and make the stay even better for guests afterwords. Would recommend this place to others.
