Positives: The host was friendly, responsive, and provided several helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. The location was excellent—just a few minutes from downtown Santa Rosa and close to many wineries. Negatives: The property felt somewhat dated and could benefit from some maintenance and updates. During our stay, the master bathroom was out of service, and some of the bathroom fixtures showed noticeable wear and staining. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The listing photos showed clear, inviting water, but when we arrived the water was green and murky, so it wasn't usable. If the pool is an important part of your stay, it may be worth confirming its condition with the host before booking.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Harmon was friendly, responsive, and communicated well throughout our visit. He was quick to respond and resolved all of our issues promptly, which we really appreciated. We would be happy to recommend him as a host.

This property worked for our large group and has a lot of space, privacy, and comfortable beds. The beds and linens were clean, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay. The private location was also great. Now the other stuff: the property does not look like it does in the photos. The photos are staged (which is fine), but the overall home and grounds could benefit from some major updating and maintenance. The property feels abandoned, including a musty/ moldy odor, extremely stained toilets from hard water, broken bathroom fixtures, and landscaping around the pool area that could use attention. This place met our needs for space and functionality, but given the price point, we expected a more polished and upscale experience. If your priority is accommodating a large group in a private setting, this is a good option. But if you’re looking for a luxury experience, not so much. If this place gets a facelift, we would probably return. Price point is not worth it right now.

Overall the house was okay and has the potential to be really nice. We feel it did not match the flawless photos. The biggest con was that the pool and hot tub were filthy and unusable, the pool area was a mess and clearly not maintained. The vineyard out front is a cool feature but is clearly not maintained. The fountain out front was green with algae. The garage area was dirty and the cornhole boards were completely warped and not usable. The beds were comfy but there was a stain found on a sheet. Upon our arrival, there was a crew doing maintenance on the palm trees and the entire lot was covered in debris and dust, there was apparently a miscommunication and they were told nobody was renting that weekend. Harman was apologetic and had them cleanup (some) and reschedule. Harman did provide a small refund for this and the pool, but we still feel that the price was too high for what you get. Nonetheless we made the most of it.

The Good The property boasts a private, tree-lined location near downtown with a nice driveway. Harman is a responsive host, and we still managed to have fun. However, severe operational deficits compromised the stay. The Bad Misleading Photos: The listing photos are not an honest representation of the property's current condition. Guest Readiness: There was no welcome guide, and zero extra sheets or pillows were accessible. Design: The kitchen hood is installed too low, rendering the back burners unusable. Non-master beds felt smaller than queens. Hygiene & Maintenance: One guest bathroom had yellow stains. The master tub was completely broken; lacking a standalone shower, we had to crowd into the remaining bathrooms. The Dealbreaker: The pool was dirty and smelled like a swamp. Despite explicit prior requests, the hot tub was broken and dirty. While Harman provided financial compensation, a refund doesn't recover the lost premium experience we specifically booked this property for.

We stayed here for my 40th birthday, and overall it worked well for our group. The property is large, private, and has plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor hanging out, which made it a great home base for a medium-sized group. It would be especially good for people looking for a place to gather while exploring wine country. The main downside was that the pool and hot tub were not clean when we arrived. Harman was very responsive and quick to address our request to service the hot tub, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the pool during our stay. That said, we were given a refund, which was a thoughtful and fair gesture. Overall, I would recommend this place for medium-sized groups, especially if you want a private place to relax and spend time together. The responsiveness from the host helped offset some of the frustration with the amenities.

We had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out super easy. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the space. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 5-star experience!
