We spent a fabulous Easter weekend at the cabin. It had plenty of space for our large group, lots of beds and bathrooms. The home has stunning views, a panoramic view of the ocean and Tomales Bay that greats you as soon as you walk in. The hot tub was a hit with the kids, as was the vintage intercom that runs throughout the home. Harman was a great host, very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend!

Million dollar view! We knew it would be good but it was outstanding! The ocean waves and Point Reyes were right out your giant glass windows, spectacular. The drive there was beautiful, like driving through Ireland - green, grassy hillsides spotted with cows and sheep; such a joy. Beds very comfortable, kitchen working well. There were a few broken items but Harmon alerted us and fixed what he could while we were there, he is very, very responsive. I don't think we'll every find another spot with such a beautiful view. The walk down to Dillon Beach on the road was pretty steep, driving easier. We visited Point Reyes a couple of times - McClure's Beach, hike to Tomales Point, Chimney Rock (saw Elephant Seals!), went to the Redwoods of Muir Woods, hung out on Dillan Beach one day and made our way over to the lovely rocks. Every day was excellent and action packed. Then we returned tired to our BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean.

Not transparent about specific concerns, I had asked prior to arrival due to the last reviews. There was a lot of broken things in the house, including the hot tub. The water pressure was horrible. The shower downstairs was cold water unless you placed the knob a specific way which we didn’t find out until night 2 there is no air-conditioning in the house so if you get hot in one of the downstairs bedrooms and he tells you to open the windows, the window is broken shut so you cannot open it. There is a shower door missing in the upstairs bathroom, there was a broken ceramic fish out on the deck that we had to move so the kids didn’t cut themselves on it. The bathroom toilets got clogged several times. There were hardly any hand towels in the kitchen no chopping board the refrigerator freezes everything so be careful with that. There’s a couch downstairs that has a fold out bed, but it looks so disgusting. We didn’t even attempt it. All together not worth the money. Very disappointed

The location truly can’t be beat

The location truly can’t be beat. The views are stunning from every floor, the neighborhood is quiet & peaceful. There was plenty of space for our large group, which is hard to find in Dillon while still being close to the beach. However, we later discovered the property had recently been listed for sale, which was not communicated prior to our stay. This raised concerns about both privacy and the lack of attention to maintenance. Several key amenities were not functioning, including the dishwasher and one oven, despite us clearly stating we planned to cook large family meals. Because of this, we also had to go into town to purchase basic supplies such as paper towels, dish soap, & trash bags. At check-in, the cleaning crew walked us through the home to point out broken or missing items and did not leave until 30 minutes after check-in time. The large windows were covered in handprints & feathers from the previous guests. Ultimately, the time spent together was meaningful & worthwhile.

Beautiful location and very comfortable house. The one issue is the dishwasher was broken and despite promises to call in someone to help, no one arrived throughout our stay.

Beautiful home and views. The lock is particular and takes a while to work. The only disappointment is it's pretty far from the nearby restaurant areas that we visited so it was inconvenient to drive 30 min each time to head to Bodega Bay for restaurants.

Location, location, location

Location, location, location! Harman’s house had sweeping panoramas from floor to ceiling windows of the ocean and nearby beach—the views, especially the sunrises and sunsets, were spectacular. Beds were very comfortable and the house has a lot of great common spaces for enjoying time together. One day we walked down to Dillon Beach and strolled along the ocean, then had a delicious lunch at the Coastal Kitchen restaurant there. Another day we drove to Bodega Bay to hike, followed by lunch at The Tides. We also booked a limo for a wine tour in the Healdsburg area. Be prepared that the house is a bit remote from stores and restaurants (other than the Coastal Kitchen) and you will have to drive a bit to get to the suggested hikes and restaurants. But if you are prepared for that, it is well worth it for the gorgeous views from the house. And my group found ourselves happy to just stay home and enjoy the surroundings. Harman is an extremely responsive host and we had a great stay.
