We had a great time Aaron’s house. He was super helpful and responsive - would definitely stay there again.

This was my second stay at this property and I hope to return again sometime. It's roomy and comfortable and the views can't be beat.

Truly spectacular view; spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming home; great beaches, hiking, golf, cafes, bakeries nearby with a very friendly atmosphere; a perfect getaway for any size family or group of friends. Alex is super responsive and accommodating.

The perfect place for a multi-generational gathering. There were maybe 6 steps to get into the house and then two steps down to the main floor. Our mobility-challenged family member could stay on the same level for our trip and look out the beautiful window. The bedrooms felt private from the main area. The downstairs great room was great for the teens to hang out in while the older ones played board games upstairs. Great walk downhill to the water and a warm hot tub when we returned. Roomy parking too. Alex was very quick to respond when we had questions. The rocking/swivel chairs by the window are the best to snuggle into and watch the ocean. My favorite property for a family gathering in Dillon Beach.

We had the perfect stay! There were sweeping views from every room! We walked to the beach or through the neighborhood each day…the weather was amazing. We had dinner and bought live crabs in nearby Bodega bay which was fun and tasty! We loved having rooms on each level. When we had a question about the hot tub, the response was very prompt and issue taken care of. Our family was very thankful for this peaceful trip, we can’t wait to visit again!

A beautiful residence with gorgeous views of Sonoma. The house is very spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated, and perfect for a few days of not-so-perfect rainy weather.
The house has everything that a vacationer would desire. The kitchen is very well equipped with amenities that turn cooking into a delightful family affair. The bedrooms and the beds are very comfortable.
The hosts are very communicative, responsive, and friendly. The house instructions and thoughtful recommendations about the area are detailed and informative.

Gorgeous views near the top of Dillon Beach. Big walk up the hill or easy drive down. Amazing views from everywhere- ideal for large group or a couple of families. Needs some little things fixed to make it perfect but Alex was very responsive. As a long time Dillon renter, we will definitely come back.

What a beautiful home and the perfect place for our family to gather together! Elizabeth and Gayle were the perfect hosts. The home was beautifully appointed and so welcoming and comfortable….and the view was spectacular! We felt completely at home and enjoyed our days there. We hope to be able to visit again in the future!

Really deserves 10 STARS! Gorgeous home with absolutely stunning view. We did our annual Thanksgiving dinner with family there and the kitchen has EVERYTHING! Hosts are accessible. Every thing was easy easy easy easy!

Our stay was wonderful and offered everything that we could have hoped for. The house is lovely and very well located in the heart of the Russian River area close to Forestville with easy access to Sonoma coast, valley, and superb wineries. The home is exceptionally clean and well stocked with every kitchen appliance imaginable, clever tools and gadgets, pots, pans, utensils and dishware, wine openers, soaps and paper products, e-charging cables in every room, comfortable mattresses, excellent sheets and towels, superb heat pumps (AC and heat), board games, puzzles, and ping pong. A home manual offers thorough advice on every aspect of the home, beautiful yard and Koi pond, surrounding food markets, restaurants, wineries, walks and more. The hosts, Elizabeth and Gayle, are lovely and reply promptly to any outreach. We are grateful to have discovered the property which is clearly loved and meticulously cared for and we look forward to returning!

I stayed at Alex’s place for a weekend with 7 friends. The house is large and spread out, so we didn’t feel crowded at all. The house is perched near the top of the bluff, so we had great views and sounds of the ocean. Lots of wildlife as well: deer, rabbits, & birds were very entertaining.

We walked down to the beach one morning, and we were all dreading the climb back up. I’m happy to report that we all made it back with minimal to moderate effort.

We got oysters in Bodega Bay, which was about 30 minutes’ drive north…very yummy!

Overall, we had a great time! Instructions were clear and check in/check out was easy.

Elizabeth and Gayle’s home in Forestville was a wonderful place to stay! The views were breathtaking and the deck was a great place to watch the sunset and eat dinner with family. The house was gorgeous and very well taken care of. The primary bedroom was a huge, had incredible views and good size bathroom with two sinks. The kitchen was well stocked with quality kitchen ware, a full spice rack and a sharp knife set. A true chef’s kitchen, which is hard to find at most AirBNB’s.

The location was great, a 3 minute drive from downtown Forestville (which included a nice walking trail) and a 5 minute drive to Iron Horse winery, which had some delicious sparkling wines. This was my first trip to Forestville but my family actually owned much of the land in the 18 and early 1900’s with several roads (Ross road) still named after them. Considering how important this trip was to my family and I, Elizabeth and Gayle’s place made a special occasion even that much more special.

Gorgeous, fun, and expansive property and grounds, very well-appointed. Because the house seems a bit older, we did run into some issues that detracted from the overall stay, including some safety concerns that required the gas company and a handyman to resolve. But Aaron was responsive and ready to assist, and overall we still had a good time. We did not bring our kids on this trip, but the property is a child's dreamland.

Alex’s place is perfect for a big group with amazing views over Dillon Beach. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Elizabeth's Hummingway Ranch felt similar to visiting a family member or best friend where every attention to detail has been well thought out for the comfort of the guest. Everything from large, fluffy white towels in the bathrooms to luxurious linens in the bedrooms to a well-stocked kitchen, and an immaculately clean environment - truly spotless!, a guest could not hope for a more enjoyable place to call home for a vacation. The house is lovely with amazing views, a spacious, well-furnished deck, and lots of fun games and activities available to guests. We found the location was perfect for our jaunts into Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and Sebastopol, and very central to wineries in the area. Really a gem of a stay. Can't wait to go back!
