What are the costs of this service?

$150 per hour with a two-hour minimum retainer ($300). For groups of eight or more, the rate is $170 per hour with a $340 retainer. The retainer is collected at the time of engagement. Clients are billed in 30-minute increments. The remaining balance — minus your deposit — is due when your final itinerary is delivered, or after your visit if additional time was required.

How much in advance should I book your customized concierge services?

The earlier, the better. Wine Country fills up quickly — even during quieter months, top tastings, private chefs, and massage therapists book up fast. To secure the best experiences, plan ahead.

Do I pay Vinifera Homes directly for all the costs and fees I incur?

Vinifera Homes partners with Melanie Schwartz, our concierge services provider and CEO of Booker & Butler. Payments are made directly to Melanie Schwartz and contracts with other vendors are arranged directly between you and each provider, with Melanie acting as facilitator.

What if my plans change and I need to cancel my trip to Napa or Sonoma?

We understand plans change. If you cancel, you’ll receive a refund for the balance of your deposit, minus any hours already worked by Melanie. If her time exceeds the initial retainer, you’ll be invoiced for the overage. Vendor cancellation policies vary and are handled case by case — any third-party fees will be billed directly to you.
