Our employees enjoyed staying here while working on a project in Santa Rosa. It was a lovely home and sparkling clean. Would highly recommend!

Great place I would stay here again
The hosts were great to work with and very accommodating. Our travel plans provided for an early check in. We called Serika with little notice and she was able to reprioritize the cleaning to accommodate an early arrival. The house was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Highly recommend.
Great place! Lots of character. The type of house that definitely has a cool history.
Great outdoor spaces for hanging out with friends
This little cottage was adorable and immaculate. It was a lovely place to stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend staying here.
The house is huge with lots of separate spaces to enjoy. The pool however was unusable and we could t get the pump and pool vacuum to operate, would have been fun for the kids. The hot water heater just outside the downstairs bedroom was so noisy when it came on during the night it woke the guests up ea h time it fired up. We saw a new hot water heater in the garage so hopefully it will be resolved. The air mattress list air so it was not comfortable for my brother, he didn’t sleep well. We couldn’t find proper extra bedding either. There are not a lot of convienuent electrical outlets but typical for a house this age. Communication was great. Score our stay but non-existant during our stay. For the price we thought these issues should have been addressed. That said the house was huge, with a fun, eclectic design style with lots of differant rooms & spaces to enjoy being together with a large group. We loved the large back deck with huge dinning table, sofas and cool fire pit. The kids enjoyed the huge backyard with a fun playhouse built in under the deck and a cool slide off the deck. Our large family enjoyed our time together here.
This is the perfect getaway spot for a group of good friends. Enough space to get away from each other yet so many communal hangout seating clusters and tables and alcoves and benches inside and out of this home as well. The design and decor is perfection and just adds to the great vibe you get when you step foot onto this beautiful property full of vines, rolling hills, gigantic rock formations and amazing sunrise and sunset views. The ONE thing I would say that’s different from the pics is that the lighting inside the house is much more dim and moody vs the very bright pics (which is normal for home shots, I get it)...so that was a surprise but it was actually preferable as the natural light that comes in at all times of day is amazing as well as the well appointed lamps, cool light fixtures, and overall lighting throughout the home. Oh! And outside too- well lit paths, pool, bocce court and up lighting to trees and boulders made the outside a great place to be well into the night.
Would definitely return.
Very nice, clean 3 bedroom that accommodates three couples and has some room to spare. The home is a short drive to the grocery store and 20 minutes from the variety of wineries on Dry Creek Road. Everything feels new and the place is well equipped whether you want to cook or bring food back from one of the local eateries. The hosts live nearby and welcome the use of the vast property (which features a chicken coop and peacock) and orchard. This is a great launching point for Sonoma adventures!
Our employees enjoyed staying in this home. It was comfortable , beautiful, and clean. It is located in a lovely area.
Aaron's house is very interesting for a number of reasons. Easiest way to go through everything is a pros/cons list.
Pros:
- Big kitchen with industrial grade appliances
- Great patio w/ firepit
- Great location close to downtown Sonoma and within range of lots of wineries
- Lots of space throughout the house - bedrooms and common areas.
- From a value standpoint, you won't find many large villa-style options for a better price.
- TVs are hooked up with a Chromecast, and the wi-fi was pretty speedy.
Cons:
- Outside grounds weren't very well taken care of. WARNING: If you're driving up, do NOT park underneath trees. There was a walnut/acorn tree that caused damage to a couple of our cars.
- The pool is green and not well maintained (likely due to an extended period of poor maintenance. Need to be drained, acid washed, and possibly re-done). Ignore the pool as an amenity when making your decision.
- Had some issues with the TV satellite, opted for streaming/Chromecast instead.
- No blinds in the master bedroom, yet lots of windows. Great for sunlight or if you're an exibitionist, poor for privacy.
Great place and location
This place is dynamite. Well furnished, supplied with an abundance of basic needs and an excess of anything routinely in demand (toiletries, paper towels, coffee filters, etc.) The single most notable feature for us is the extraordinary kid friendliness of this place - a huge and very special play room beneath the house, kid sized furniture everywhere, a conservatory/library/playroom that smoothly merges adult entertainment with children's self distraction. And it is equally equipped for adult playtime to address every aspect from outdoor entertainment to fine dining. A super hit with everyone we brought.
Very comfortable and spacious house. There is plenty of parking and Great outdoor spaces. We look forward to coming back and staying again.
Wonderful experience!
Kevin & Serika’s home was an amazing place to stay
Kevin & Serika’s home was an amazing place to stay! It was beautifully decorated and comfortable, we loved the baskets of throw blankets :). Communication was quick and easy, and check in was a breeze. We accidentally left an item behind after check out and Kevin and Serika were very helpful in getting it returned. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a really terrific time at the Kanzler home! We were a group of 4 couples looking for a relaxing weekend where we could eat well, try new wines and wineries, watch football and generally just lay low and relax. We got that and more! The house is immaculate and super comfortable. We ate out and cooked and both were great and easy. Pool and hot tub were great (hot tub fits 4). The best part was the wine tasting that Alex and Bre do with you directly, right on the property. Not only are the Pinot and Chardonnay outstanding, you get to walk among the vineyards and really understand the art and science of everything they’re doing. We highly recommend this vacation home and plan to come back!
We stayed at this property with our friends to celebrate my birthday. After driving down some windy roads, we arrived at the property to discover that you’re in a new world. This property is beautiful, and it looks just like the pictures from the post. Bre was there to welcome me and give a tour around the house. It is on a vineyard and you have full access to the property grounds. She even set up time for a fun afternoon wine tasting the following morning which we learned about their Kanzler wines and history of their property. I don’t drink, but my friends loved the Kanzler rose and reserve. They even became members of their wine club!
The house was immaculate. The rooms were large, spacious, and clean! There’s a nice modern touch to the decor, and all rooms had their own private bath which was so nice. The beds were comfortable and sheets were super soft. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils. We cooked all meals in their spacious kitchen and grilled some meats outside. Conveniently, there is a wine fridge that you can pay for some of their own bottles if you’re too lazy to leave the property. We ended up doing so every night.
It’s a great relaxing space and spent the afternoon at the pool and jacuzzi. We also walked around the vineyard and were able to pick some blackberries to make a pie!
Our overall experience was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We all would recommend our friends and family to stay here for a long weekend or special occasion.
Aaron’s place is not a house, it is an estate! So much space. My friends and I felt so welcomed and had everything we needed. Would stay again.
Perfect location and lots of room!
We stayed at Aaron's place for the weekend as we were in town for a friends wedding. The house was spacious and I wish we'd had more time to enjoy all of the beautiful outdoor space and the large kitchen, but we did have a lot of wedding activities. The house was pretty close to a lot of wineries and a cute little shopping area with grocery store and fitness studio. The bedsheets were so soft!
