We loved the panoramic views at Alex’s beach house. It is truly unique in that all four bedrooms and main living spaces take advantage of the location by offering up bay and ocean views. It was also spotlessly clean and made it easy to have all of our meals in with a fully equipped kitchen. Our group of 9, three couples, two teens and one six year old, was perfectly accommodated by the room configuration. Everyone wanted to stay longer and so we would absolutely return given another chance. Thanks for sharing the place!

Absolutely perfect for a family getaway. Fun in the sun and everything a family could dream of. We kept saying wow! Our kids were in heaven. Aaron was an excellent host.

This is a great home. There are a lot of fun activities for the kids, like the pool, zip line, and play house. We all had a really good time, and the host was very responsive and accommodating to our requests.

Amazing view and a great place for a weekend getaway to the beach. The property manager Lesley was also very responsive and attentive. Only wrinkle the prevented it from being 5/5 was that the hot water went out half way through the stay, which wasn't able to be resolved before we left. This was hopefully a one-off and otherwise enjoyed the stay so much that we're already planning to come back next year!

What an amazing home! We came here with our two kids (aged 7 & 9) to get away from the city for a few days during COVID. This house was more than we were expecting. The pool is as wonderful as we expected, but we were also entranced by the trees that were climbable, the zip line, the giant chess set, and fully kitted out playhouse. When they kids were tired of being outside, they lost themselves in the books and toys in the library. We didn't take advantage of most of the wonders of Sonoma, but we did hike in Sonoma Valley Regional Park and visited Jack London State Park. We can't wait to come back with friends!

We had the wonderful surprise of many rooms and bedrooms having been updated prior to our stay. The home is much larger than the pictures communicate. We were a group of adults but this would be heaven for families with children too! (Life sized play house, jungle gym, play room with the biggest teddy I've ever seen). The home is very well stocked with so many cooking utensils, spices, condiments etc... Really everything a cook could need. We mainly used the BBQs (one gas, one charcoal green egg) to cook but the kitchen and the endless amount of appliances is a chef's dream. The pool is fab, stocked with tons of floaties and is fully shaded from 4pm onwards which was nice for the fairer skinned of us. Aaron was very responsive and helpful with everything we asked. We'll be back!!!

One of the best Airbnb stays!!! There isn’t a thing we can recommend for a better trip. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the pics did not do the property justice AT ALL!! Our group consisted of my parents, kids (12 YO, twin 7YOs, my husband and myself. Details below.

The positive experience definitely started with the host, Aaron. He provided lightening fast responses to my many questions in preparation of our trip. Not only was he fast, very accommodating and professional but he’s also super friendly. During the trip, he continued to help us navigate through the media system and pool. Best Airbnb host EVER!!

PROPERTY
Just WOW! Huge house with eclectic decor and great upgrades. Smart toilets throughout the house!!! We loved cooking in the chef’s kitchen, spent most of the day in the backyard and ended our days cuddling in the library/theater room. What an amazing place for kids! Ours enjoyed sliding down the deck to enjoy the day in the pool. When they took breaks from the pool, they liked to roam the huge property and enjoyed the playhouse under the deck (great design) and the kid size zip line. The pool area was designed to make you feel like you were at a private resort.

I’m recommending this beautiful Sonoma retreat to anyone (with or without kids) looking to relax, enjoy serene views, and take advantage of great amenities.

Aaron's listing was incredible. We had a group get together for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay.

Communications: Aaron was super speedy with responses via the Airbnb app, and went above and beyond in recommending us nearby places during our stay. The digital manual functionality made our check-in and check-out process that much easier.

Technology: The master bedroom came with an amazing shower and jetted tub, which came with instructions on the digital manual (very thoughtful touch). Every bathroom also had a top-notch Toto toilet with heated seats, and almost every room came equipped with its own Nest thermostat.

Amenities: The private pool was a game changer for us, and was exactly what we were looking for during COVID-19. There aren't a lot of other homes with the same offerings in the same area! There's also a huge backyard that we were able to set up corn hole with. If you have children, this is also highly recommended for you, as there's a ton of room to roam around and kids' toys!

Recommendations: I think the thermostat was hard-coded to have a max and minimum setting. I would have loved to be able to make the house cooler than what it was since the summers are rather warm in the area. Another note is that the neighbors seem incredibly sensitive to noise, and made a few complaints. Definitely not Aaron's fault and he was very nice and considerate when asking us to lower the volume down a bit.

I would highly recommend this listing overall, and would be more than happy to make a regular visit to Aaron's place. It's in a wonderful location and has everything that guests could ever ask for!

Lovely, homey space that is perfect for families or large groups. The layout gave everyone their own private space and the common areas were comfortable for all. The beds were great! The hot water was instant and that view is to die for. Bring your wine and snacks and stay a while. You will not regret it!

THE BEST!
We spent 2 full weeks in this beautiful home. The house has everything you will need for an amazing vacation. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate.
Huge grounds, we had many fun days at the pool swimming and bbqing. I couldn’t get my girls off the zip line and the theater room (so much to do).
Aaron is a fantastic host, great communication.
House is conveniently located close to Sonoma square. About 30 min from Napa and and Yountville.
We can’t wait to go back. Thanks again Aaron!

Kanzler is a fantastic home for a group to have a safe and amazing getaway. There were enough bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for our group and great outdoor areas (gas firepit, pergola, patio dining, cornhole set, vineyards to walk in, and the pièce de résistance, the sparkling clean, solar-heated pool and poolside area.

There is a couple that manages the property on-site and lives in a separate house behind the garage. They showed us how everything worked during check in and cleaned the pool and hot-tub every morning, but we didn't see them otherwise.

Our group spent most of our time outside, but also appreciated the spacious kitchen with lots of counter space for meal prep. The Genesis gas grill is the nicest grill I've encountered at an airbnb, and truth be told, is nicer than my grill at home!

The little touches really show at Kanzler too: new dish sponge in its package, plenty of papertowels, tp, and trashbags, plenty of large pool towels for the group, pool noodles and floaties, nice linens and bath towels, black make-up remover towels, extra tanks of propane at the ready for the firepit and grill, etc.

Bre hosted an outdoor, social distancing wine tasting for our group and answered our many questions with good humor. We loved hanging out with Bre and her dog Tuck :)

It was super hard to leave Kanzler to return to our normal lives and it's definitely a splurge, but we are all looking forward to booking it again!

Our stay was truly fantastic and we really appreciated the kid friendly touches, like the great room filled with toys and the conversion to a home theater for the evenings.
The real highlight was the pool, which was clean and came with great accessories for us to enjoy. We spent so much of our time enjoying the water, grilling and relaxing in the sun. This was the perfect getaway.
The upgraded bathrooms and little touches everywhere made us so excited to plan our next visit. Aaron is super responsive and helpful. One of my best Airbnb stays!

What a gem in Sonoma! The home and property are incredible. The home has every amenity you may want. Aspiring chefs will love cooking in this kitchen!

The home has been remodeled with updated furnishings. The bathrooms feature all new modern upscale showers, sinks, and toilets.

Aaron is very responsive and check-in/out was a breeze.

We had a group of 4 couples and this home was the perfect size for us. At the same time, I would definitely recommend bringing family as Aaron’s home would be a child’s delight with the playhouse and media room.

This place is amazing, incredible views, great kitchen, and a spa. The garage was great to have as well for our bikes. Definitely a fun place to enjoy and relax, minus exorbitant fees that added up to over $800.

We had a great time! The home was clean and well appointed. This was our first time using AirBNB and it set the bar high! Would definitely recommend or stay there again.

The house was everything we wanted out of a beach house. Great views from every room. It was nice to run down to the beach each day and running back up the hillside.

Alex was very accommodating and quick to respond. The place is amazing! The views are beautiful. We had a great time.

My family had a really great time, everything was perfect. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a great place in the Wine country, that is fully equipped and has a wonderful outside area with (heated) pool and hot tube. Very close to Sebastopol which is also a very nice little city.

I rented this for a girls weekend to celebrate my friends 50th birthday party. She loves the beach and the views from this house are amazing both upstairs and downstairs. As soon as we walked in it was WOW. There was so much space. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. We even saw deer which was an added bonus. We would totally stay here again.
